The admission process is the first step towards earning your degree or graduate certificate from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. We're here to help.

It's easy to get started.

Follow the steps below and a dedicated enrollment specialist will help guide you through the entire process. If you need immediate assistance, please call us at 305-284-4000. 

Step 1 - Admission Requirements

Please familiarize yourself with the admission requirements for your program of interest.

Step 2 - Application Instructions

  • Master's Degree Programs:
    • Go to: CollegeNet
    • Log in or create a new account
    • Scroll down and choose Frost Online (Frost School of Music)
    • Choose the program you are applying to and the term
    • Fill out the application
    • Pay the application fee ($85)
  • Graduate Certificate Programs
    • Go to: CollegeNet
    • Log in or create a new account
    • Scroll down and choose Frost Online (Frost School of Music)
    • Choose the program you are applying to and the term
    • Fill out the application
    • Pay the application fee ($65)

Step 3 - Supporting Documents

During the application process be prepared to submit the following:
  • Official transcripts (from all institutions where you received college credit after high school)
  • Resume - submitted through CollegeNet
  • Three letters of recommendation - submitted by the recommenders through CollegeNet
  • Other materials from third-party sources (as required)
