The Frost School of Music is one of the largest and best music schools located in a private university in the U.S. and one of the most comprehensive in all of higher education. Building on its foundation as a conservatory of music, the school provides master's classes with noted guest artists and composers, and a wide variety of degree offerings in virtually every area of musical study and research.
Established in 1925 during the region's famous real estate boom, the University of Miami is a private research university with more than 15,000 students from around the world.
